A guide was on hand to lead the visitors through the Gallery who was able to relate the interesting stories of the lives of the former residents of the building-Lord and Lady Lever.

There was a connection with Sir William Goscombe John here with a sculpture of his daughter being exhibited. The face looks quite similar to the face ot The little Girl's statue at Llansannan.

After lunch it was time to move on to the Canal Museum at Elsmere. Again, guides were on hand to show the visitors around the museum. In addition everyone enjoyed a ride in a narrow boat on the canal.

A good number of the members of the Bro Aled Historical and Culture Association went on the end of season outing over the border into England this year, The attractions were the Lady Lever Art Gallery at Port Sunlight Village and the Waterways Museum at Elsmere. To complete the outing an evening meal was enjoyed at the Traveller's Rest near Caerwys.
