Mae llawer o bethau cymunedol ymlaen yn nhafarn y Llew Coch trwy'r flwyddyn. Yn ychwanegol i'r manylion sydd isod (Be sy 'mlaen ym Mehefin) cynhelir pob math o ddigwyddiadau yma. Ceir nosweithiau codi arian at fudiadau lleol fel gwerthu gemwaith (Tlws) a cwisiau misol. Yn ystod tymor pel droed, bydd CPD Llansannan (ar tim oddi cartref) yn cael lluniaeth ysgafn (am ddim) yn y dafarn pan yn chwarae gemau cartref. Mae cystadleuthau pwl hefyd lle mae'r timau'n cael lluniaeth yn ystod gemau cartref. Yn ddiweddar cafwyd ffilmio at raglen teledu i ddysgwyr Cymraeg HWB (sydd ar S4C) efo'r digrifwr lleol, Eilir Jones. Rhoi'r cyfle i fandiau lleol chwarae o flaen cynilleidfa ar nosweithiau cerddorol arbennig. Da fod yr anrhydedd wedi dod o'r diwedd!! Yn ychwanegol, dymuna Chris a Jackie ddiolch am y gefnogaeth a ddangosir iddynt gan y gymuned yma yn Llansannan. Heb hyn, ni fyddai'r anrhydedd yma wedi bod yn bosib. Many community activities are held in the Red Lion throughout the year. In addition to the information below (What's on in June) all sorts of events are held here. Regular fund raising evenings from jewelry sales (Tlws) to monthly quizzes held.by local organisation in order to boost their funds. During the football season LLansannan CPD players (and the away team players) have refreshments (free of charge) following home games. The same applies for the pool match players during home games. Recently, filming with the local comedian Eilir Jones for the Welsh learner's series HWB on S4C was arranged within the premises. Local bands also get the opportunity to perform in front of an audience here during special music evenings. It's great that the award has come at last!! In addition, Chris and Jackie would like to thank the local community here in Llansannan for their continued support, for without this, the winning of this award would not have been possible.

Mewn cinio yng Ngwesty Alderley Edge nos Fercher y 5ed o Fehefin 2013 cafwyd gwybodaeth fod Y Llew Coch, Llansann an wedi ennill y wobr o Dafarn Gymunedol y Flwyddyn 2013. Mae hon yn gystadleuaeth a gynhelir yn flynyddol gan y bragwyr J W Lees. 'Roedd 260 o dafarndai J W Lees yn y gystadleuaeth, o Gaerlewelydd i Sir Fon.
At a dinner in the Alderley Edge Hotel on Wednesday the 5th June 2013, it was announced that the Red Lion, Llansannan had won the Community Pub of the Year Award for 2013. This is an annual competition organised by the Brewers J W Lees. Some 260 J W Lees pubs were in the competition, located from Carlisle to Angesley. .
