Ymweliad plant o Chernobyl a'r ardal / Visit of Chernobyl children to the area
Daeth 11 o blant o Chernobyl, Belarws, i Lansannan, Nos Sul yr 18fed o Orffennaf 2010. Roeddent yn aros yn yr hen neuadd sydd rwan yn eiddo i Sgowtiaid Crosby. Gwnaed y trefniadau gan gangen y 4ydd Gybiaid Ardal Crosby. Yn ystod ei amser yma cawsant ymweld a Bryn Teg, Llanrug, Ffair Knightleys yn Nhowyn, Castell Conwy, pysgota am grancod yn afon Conwy o gwch a mynd i lan y mor ym mae Colwyn.Hefyd, o herwydd y tywydd glawog, bu cyfle i chwarae gemau pel a gwneud gwaith crefft.
11 children from Chernobyl, Belarus, arrived in the area on Sunday evening the 18th July 2010. They were accommodated at th old village hall that is now owned by the Crosby Scouts. The arrangements were made by the 4th Crosby and District Cubs. During their time here they visited Bryn Teg, Llanrug, Knightleys Fair, Towyn, Conwy Castle, fished for crabs from a boat on the Conwy River and played on the beach at Colwyn Bay. In addition due to the rainy weather, ball games and craft work helped pass the time away.
Cawson barti yn y Llew Coch Nos Iau y 22ain o Orffennaf cyn teithio am adref a diolch i Chris a Jackie am hyn. Maen't wedi cael parti ar ei noson olaf yn y pentref gan Chris a Jackie ers pedair blynedd ac mae wedi bod yn llwyddiant ar pob achlysur.
On the last evening of their stay in this area, the 22nd July, prior to returning home, they were given a farewell party at the Red Lion hosted by Chris and Jackie, this year being the 4th year for such a successful event.
Alina (chwith) meddyg o Belarus wedi dod efo'r plant. Marion (dde) un o'r helpwyr o Grosby sydd hefyd yn weithgar efo codi arian tuag at alluogi gwyliau i blant o Chernobyl yma.

Mae'n costio tua £6000.00 am bob 10 plentyn a ddaw trosodd i'r wlad hon. Mae hyn yn cynnwys teithio, bwyd, a dillad. Codi'r yr arian yma gan griw y Scowtiaid, rhieni a ffrindiau sy'n byw yng Nghilgwri. Ymysg y gweithgareddau er gwneud hyn mae golchi ceir, nosweithiau cwis, a phacio bagiau mewn arfarchnadoedd. Bydd dechrau codi arian tuag at ymweliad 2011 yn cychwyn cyn gynted a mae'r criw sydd yn ymweld wedi mynd yn ol adref.
It costs around £6000.00 for each 10 children that come to this country. This includes travel, food and clothes. Th funding is raised by the Scouts, their families and friends living on the Wirral. Amongst these activities are car washing, quizzes and packing shopping at local supermarkets. Fund raising for 2011 visit will start as soon as the current visitors have left for home.
